Cori is associated with a nationwide network of college planners who for years have used proven strategies to help students find and select colleges that fit, maximize financial aid and scholarships, and financially plan with parents to make college affordable.

With 12+ years providing private college consulting services, Crystal is laser focused on how to gain admissions and secure funding. Crystal visits college campuses through the year, gaining valuable insights in the academic and social fit for our prospective students. Crystal has several professional memberships including the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), the Pacific Northwest Association for College Admission Counseling (PNACAC), Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), and serves on the board of the National College Affordability Group (NCAG).

Carly Sevin
Carley brings to SCHOLARS, a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling/School Counseling and is Licensed in Professional Counseling. Carly is based in Pennsylvania. As a School Counselor and classroom teacher, Carly brings a wealth of experience successfully collaborating with students and parents. Carly has been training with Crystal and shadowing student meetings since October and is learning fast.

Ruka Olunlade
Ruka brings to SCHOLARS, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Stockton University in New Jersey and a Master's degree in Higher Education College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
With over five years of experience in college counseling and student advising, Ruka helps high school students navigate the admissions process and find best-fit universities. She draws on her expertise in student development, academic advising, and career exploration to support students in aligning their strengths and interests with their college goals.

Karen Lynn Maher
Karen is a writing coach with over twenty years of experience helping writers create engaging, well-crafted works. She has a bachelor’s degree in English/Creative Writing from Seattle University and has taught a variety of classes and workshops on the craft of writing, primarily at Cascadia Community College, Seattle University and an array of private venues. She is an expert at teaching the art of personal essay writing. Karen will guide you to complete six steps to writing your personal essay, a critical process towards achieving your goal of college admissions.
